Yes that is home for her so that is nice also. She is enjoying the food. Can't really go sightseeing because its to much for her but its nice to be back home. They say it takes about 10 weeks for her to see results since she is 71. So I will continue to keep in touch. Thanks aly

Diane (Ladyinn) says to tell the tea party thread that while she is reading messages, she is not typing. The Brain Mouse is awesome and should be marketable within months worldwide. (Know) More when they get to New Mexico. The "Lion King" in Vegas is super, the weather is nice and warm. A nearly verbatim report to share.
Sandy, glad your mother has finished her treatment and hope that you're able now to take a deep breath and rest.
Aly, whatever would we do without you to either put on your medical cap or else the clown outfit and get us totally zonked with silliness? I hope I never have to find out! I haven't had tea today...but the nap was nice. And the chocolate bar is within my own area for grabbing (tea is NOT).
I will return...love you all, by the way.

I wonder if Medicare and private insurance will pay for the Brain Mouse? We will have to pick Diane's brain when she gets back.

Actually, the coffee might have shot those nerves, dear Liz. But a good cup is worth a lot. At least you didn't say you have "nerve problems"...haha, Phil commented that I actually do have nerve problems or bad nerves.

Ann- Id agree with you, but the nerves were shot before the coffee drinking started. Theyve been shot for a long time.
Its just all the stress of moving and worrying about my PALS. He is ok but his mom is not. And she never wants any help and sees me as not good enough to provide that help. her own health is very poor yet she has made no plans for my PALS if something were to happen to her. Noone other than me knows how to care for him or communicate with him. But she doesnt want me to come in there now and get comfortable. apparently i am supposed to wait until its an emergency and then pick up my whole life and move it there.
Im thinking this coffee needs a little Irish Creme this evening... Maybe I should be in the Pub...

Oh for sure! It would just be nice if all of us could be on the same page. consistantly. not just every now and again.
it very frustrating because i dont want to step over any lines, but in the same sense, i need acknowledgement that im not just some person who comes in and takes him off her hands for a few hours a day. eggshells. i hate them.

Hi, nothing funny to say to you all. Alas I am all funnied out( if there is such a word). Hope things look up Liz. We can't have you unhappy, that would not do at all.
Glad Dianne is having fun. I have seen Lion King 3x it's absolutely amazing. Best show ever. I am taking Paul to see Lionel Richie in Auckland next month. That will bring back memories!, Got Elton John tickets for November as well. I have not been to a concert since I was 17 when the beach boys came to NZ. It was so awful, that my friends and I left ,went home and put the record on instead.
Have been overdoing it in the garden, but now it looks lovely. Got a new sun umbrella, so tonight I will attempt to have dinner outside, until the pesky flies, drive me indoors. I swear if they all got together, they could carry our plates away!
My cold seems over, so no excuses to stay indoors. The cicadas are really noisy, which I love. Nice days like this, really lift the old spirits.
Hope you enjoyed the chocolate Ann. There's a box in the pantry saying" for goodness sake, we need someone to set us free". Thankfully my stomach is saying " if you eat those chocolates, it will be the fat roll that needs to be set free". The fat roll wins for now........or does it? I just realized I have an elastic waistband. That means it can just stretch. Ok the chocolates win. See ya all later, I am off........

Aly, I never made it downstairs to my stash. Here I was, typing away, and first thing I knew, Phil was working on dinner. I didn't think chocolate would fly as an appetizer. I'm worried that I've lost my senses. Other than the normal things like sleeping, breathing and the forum, I seem to just eat medicinally. Except for morning coffee. Glad I still have that to depend on. It's bad when you choose food for how easy it is to open and if it can be set out early. I'm going to miss clementines.
Oh, and you mentioned pecan pie. Well, Aly, there is also a chocolate version. I mean to tell you, it is good. I think the crust is also chocolate.

I purchased a pumpkin pie at a fund raiser and wish to share it with you fine folk!
If you'd like, I can top your slice off with some fine whipped cream!
It is guaranteed to compliment your delicious cup of tea. I promise!

Never made it to the chocolates. Willpower won! We don't have pumpkin pie her Kim. Can you email me a slice? Sounds kind of weird. Maybe next pumpkin season I will grow a pumpkin and make a pie.
In the meantime I am eagerly awaiting the pie, with heaps of cream please Kim. Oh and a nice glass of red wine as well.
Ann, I would have eaten the chocolate and dinner. Speaking of dinner. I had better get cooking.
You know Ann I might just come visit you. Always wanted to see more of the states than awful LA! Lol
