It works!
My caregiver used 1/2 tsp baking soda in warm water, along with the brush and the tube looks much better. There is still some buildup of supplement coating around the nozzle and clamp, but we are leaving some bsoda solution in the upper part of the tube to see if it softens.
The tube itself looks much cleaner. It was getting that murky look plastic gets, but it's transparent again.
