Hi, I understand that there are two types of dual cannula cuff trache tubes - fenestrated and non-fenestrated . I noticed that a PALS who is on a fenestrated cuff trache tube with the fenestrated feature not in use and the cuff less inflated, and on bipap, will still be able to talk due to the leakage from the less inflated cuff. However, may I know if a PALS who is on a non-fenestrated cuff trache tube and on bipap, will still be able to talk with a less inflated cuff?
