Sent home with an ALS diagnosis for Dad last week and waiting for an appt. with the ALS clinic. First, the doctor was at a conference, then he had a family emergency. I called the referring neurologist and he has a staff member following up for me, but said we won't hear anything until next week. Dad is so depressed. I know there's no cure, but I just want him to get into the clinic and get some information and figure out what we have to do.
