I was turned down for soc sec disability for a really dumb reason. Since I am retired, I am eligible if I do not have 5 years of working within the last 10 years. Did you understand that? I finally started PT this week. The first session was basically measuring what use I still had in my legs and we worked on some new exercises. I went home stiff and sore, but felt like I really accomplished something. I also felt that now I had a tool to watch the progression and also to use the muscles not affected yet to their potention.
