Thankyou to all who have taken the time to read my Blog.
Special thanks to Barry G and Kaye Marie for your responses.
It means so much to all of us I m sure to be able to reach out to people who know what we are dealing with ,as ,I feel at times it is better to be able to do so this way than try and chat with friends and relatives who are perhaps already overloaded in their own lives.
Thank The Surpreme Power for this wonderful site that we are all able to access.

PEG Story

The first tube everyone gets has a bell on the inside, to hold it in your stomach. It also has quite a long tube which has to be dealt with, usually by taping it to your stomach.

Once the stoma has healed sufficiently, usually 6 weeks, there are choices for replacement, although this tube can last up to 2 years. A doctor has to remove this initial tube and install the replacement. After that you can change it yourself at home.

We tried a Mic-Key without success. It...

Needing some support

Needing some support seems strange to me as I m usually the one in the carers role.
However I truly need help now, even just a few words of encouragement.
As if its not bad enough dealing with our darling Ed s dilemma, we continue to have a major problem in our family that has resufaced again and the person involved cant see past their own issues as persons with addictions cant and hence this adds to trauma all round.
Sorry this is a bit rambly, but if I ve ever thought I felt...
