Jim got his medicare card today - find it kinda funny. Working in the med field always associated medicare with "old" people (no offense!) Medicare is something my dad and grandpa get - not my husband.
Also "offically" lost my part-time job today. After cutting my hours - I got called in today - drove over an hour each way - to find out I was laid off with no promise of rehire. I did get 2 weeks pay - but of course the amount was cut because my hours were cut last month - very convient!
I did cry and all on my way home - but am now convinced more than ever this is God's plan. With all the people praying for us it has to be. I was questioning the decision of going back. (Going in was convinced that they had ok'd another position that was mentioned 2 weeks ago.) Been more wary of Jim's care of the kids - guess now I know the answer. Just need to finish this part of the test and make ends meet!
Plus side - we found a great attorney to take our SSDI effective date appeal - hoping this won't go on to long!
Yesterday - he couldn't help Mikayla with her homework (she's in Kindergarten), he didn't understand it. Then I was working with teaching her money and he kept telling her a quarter was a nickel - No wonder the kid's confused!! ;)
Trying to see the silver lining -- will try to value each day we have together -- worth more than that stupid job!!
