Is my part-time job worth it?
Well, went into work and found out that I basically no longer have a part-time position. (well it was cut to very-very part time.) I went from 2-3 days/week to 2 days/month. Guess this will give me the time to get things in order. I may qualify for financial assistance - have to complete all the paperwork. My 2 year old qualifies for WIC. I am thinking there is a reason that this has happened - though it is not crystal clear. Not sure how it will work out - but it is in God's hands.

Hi Shelley-- sorry that you are dealing with this work issue on top of everything else. Please also check into food stamps and fuel assistance for your family. If you qualify for WIC, you may very well qualify also for those programs. Many people are not aware that in this economy, they may be eligible for food stamps. every little bit helps.

Good luck-

Sandra

Shelley go and sign up for every type of assistance they have. Also sign up for Liheap they will be a big help with electric and heat. You have small children and deserve it! Also check what your combined total income is. If your income drops your hubby may also get SSI as well. If you rent where you live check into rent rebates my mom gets them.

I know THE MAN upstairs has you in the palm of his hand and I take comfort in that!
Things will work out:)

Good luck to you. My hubby was dx 09-09, It has been a rollercoaster for us too. Check into HUD housing, if you rent. How is your disability claim progressing? we are still in limbo on ours.
