I talked to Derek Sunday. He's been a busy boy for Fund Raising and Awareness. Any of us that live near Barrie Ont should make an effort to come out and watch him or donate.

Hi Al,

Great to chat last Sunday and sounds like we both have a lot to be thankful for given date(s) of diagnosis.........

My event is called "Jumping for PALS" and is a tandem skydive on Saturday, August 22nd.

My own website is:

www.waltoncure4als.ca Pledge on-line Page 4.

My event website is:

www.sunnybrookfoundation.ca EVENTS: Jumping for PALS.

Pledge Sheet on this page also.......

Please let me know what you think. Can you share my event on ALS forums?

Cheers and stay well, brother.

Someone raised the point on another thread about research into the cause of ALS. I believe Sunnybrook is involved with that.

I still have trouble with leaving a perfectly good airplane, now if it was about to crash Geronimo I'm jumping.

Looks like I'll have someone to take me out to see Derek jump. Hope to see some other Toronto, Barrie folks there. Jump is at 3pm.
