Hi everyone,
I'm Nanci and my dear old dad was just recentlydiagnosed with ALS by Dr. Pascuzzi at the Indy/IU ALS Center. I'd like to connect with others in town and especially those with older parents with ALS.
I am the tech savvy one (dad and step-mom don't use a computer at all). Need to gather info especially about what medicare will pay, how home health care might work, etc. Step-mom is afraid that she will lose the house and everything else if she has to put him in a "home".
Please intro yourselves if you are from Indy and/or have a 70+ parent with ALS. I am a high school English teacher, wife/mom of 4.
