Good morning friends!
I thought I would put out a note about our oldest son, Evan. He will be going with the high school track team to the state outdoor track meet tomorrow. Many of you may know, he is the pole vaulter in the family.
And, yes, hubby and I are making the trip, about 100 miles, to see this moment in history for him! Bless his heart-we told him we would stay at home if he thought we would make him nervous-he said no way we could miss it!
It's so hard to believe that 4 yrs of high school is almost over for him-please keep us in your prayers for safe travels and great heights!
I'll post pictures on Sunday,

p.s.
He won the indoor state pole vault title in March, so we're praying for the outdoor title too.
Tell him we're behind him!

Yes, it is official, I am the proud mother of the 2009 KY State Champion Pole Vaulter!!!!!!!!!!
He won with a jump of 14ft. I'll try to look up the article in our paper today and get it on here.

Thanks so much to all of you! And, yes, cindy, I am still glowing-mostly from sunburn watching the other 2 play baseball all weekend.
That's ok though, today, our 8 yr old, Ian, won the "Home Run Derby"-he hit 4 out of 5!
Life just doesn't get any better than watching our boys-and it beats the hell out of cleaning house.
