I am doing pretty good. My soon to be ex-wife is getting served by sheriff next Tuesday, and I will have temporary custody pending a family court hearing. She threatened to smash my DynaVox and has taken it from me once. It been reported to my care agency. She has no idea any of this is even coming.

Duane,

I've been wondering.... I'm glad you've been able to force yourself to continue to follow through with this! That's awful she would even consider doing harm to you through your dynavox, it speaks very poorly of her, and I'm sorry.

Keep at it, and let us know how it continues for you. I remember reading on another thread that your powerchair was out of commission, has it been repaired and returned yet?

The very best to you and your boys (and, even though its the wrong season........) YAY STEELERS !!!!

Duane,

Thank you for letting us know about your situation. I hope you can have family or friends support you during this time, so that nothing is "broken" or "taken" from you.

Good luck to you and your sons!

I forgot to add that she had hot date last night with her new 50 year old boyfriend, by new I mean this week, last week it was someone else. She was out until 2:30 in the morning. This time a 15 year old babysitter was here, normally we are left here alone.

Hope you are keeping notes on all of this. They may come in handy if you have to end up in court battle.

My attorney has documented all of it, and I have also. My caregivers have witnessed some of it and have offered their testimony if needed:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I really don't know how that soon-to-be ex wife of yours sleeps at night. Your courage and composure through all of this is so admirable! Way to go, Duane! Those boy of yours are lucky to have you as a role model.
I am very happy to hear that you are taking good care of yourself and protecting your interests.

Duane,

How do you know who she is dating? Is she bringing these men near your home and your children?
Please stay strong for your boys.

Unbelievable, she is going out again tonight! My boys wanted to go to the movies, now I know why she told them no. Nice priorities huh?

She certainly isn't taking her marriage vows very seriously is she?
I'm glad you have what sounds like a good attorney and that you will be granted temporary custody!
How are your boys doing? Are they dealing with this OK so far?
Let us know what happens on Tuesday.
I'll be thinking of you and sending prayers your way.
