My brother was diagnosed with PBP last year. It has gone really fast. He is only 58 years old and I am devastated. My mother who is 87 went to see him yesterday, he lives 1 hours plane trip away from us, and came back today totally aged. I feel totally useless and inadequate, his wife does not want our help although we are a large family.
I have followed this forum for a year now and am absolutely awed at the type of people here.

It is a horrible disease and one that must be stopped.

Thank you for listening.

Hi esurija. Welcome but I am sorry about your brother. PBP can be so devastating and as with most forms of MND's there is no way to tell how fast they will take their toll. I hope we can help in some way.

AL.
