PLS starting in legs

Hi - is there anyone out there who had this disease start in the leg or legs?
It seems that for most of you it starts above the waist.

What I am looking for is what can I expect next. Hands, arm, speech?

I have to chuckle at the person who said they look ahead at New Years and wonder what condition I will be in. I do the same thing!

I know we have to live for today - I just wish I could get my husband to agree. I would like to travel while I can.

Hi Ruby.My fasciculations started in my legs but my breathing and hands are worse now. A guy I worked with has it and his legs are his worst part. He has had it about 6 years or so now. As for predicting where it will go next that is the $64,000 question. This disease is so weird. No one can predict where it will go and to what extent. I too like Les wonder how I'll be each year. You wonder if it will be your last Christmes etc. It used to bother me more. I've gotten used to it now and just do the best I can each day and hope for tomorrow. . Light a fire under your hubby's butt. Travel as much as you can while you still can. It's good therapy. Oh and by the way welcome to our little corner of the world.
