BRUISED FINGERNAILS?

Hello members. I was wondering if anyone has had bruising under the fingernails as a symptom of AlS??

Hi Lilbro,
I'm still in fairly early stages, but haven't experienced bruised fingernails.

I have, however, noticed an increase in severity of bruising when I bump myself and wondered if it was related to disease?

Thank you simkin. I am sorry to hear of your dx. Ive been researching this diemna of a disease alot lately as my brother has also been recently dx (about 2 mo. ago) and am learning so much. He does bite his fingernails and probably more so since he's found out about his illness.
Maybe that has something to do with it also. Im sure we will get some input on this subject since this forum has been a great help to me and so many others out there.....

Hi folks. I haven't noticed any bruising but I have noticed my nails getting ridges. They used to be smooth and now have straight lines from the skin to the end of the nail. Once again I'm not sure if it is related but who knows.
