Uplift seats

Hi, I was wondering if anybody has tried one of those portable uplift seats. They weigh about twelve pounds and could be moved from chair to chair. One part I'm concerned about is if LB would have enough balance when the seat pushed him up. Any thoughts?

How is his balance otherwise? Has he fallen or does he stumble a lot? Can you get the seat on loan to try it? I don't have any experience with them myself but someone else may have.
