Hi To All:

have you heard of CaringBridge.org ?

we used it when my mom & cousin were dying of cancer.

it's real easy for people to post, stay in touch with family &

friends & reconnect with people and its free. it also saves you

from retelling things as you will be posting updates.

hope this helps,

Shane

I had created a caringbridge site just a couple of months before my mom passed away. It was really wonderful to have. It was a great place for her friends to say hello, to keep updated without feeling like they were taking my time away by having to explain things over and over. And even though my mom has been gone for four months, I still go back and read the site.

It breaks my heart to read about her decline, but it also serves as a sort of diary of our life together -- the goofy stuff, the mundane. And after she passed away, friends wrote messages on there that I will cherish.
