Is anyone in forum being treated by a VA Hospital for ALS? I worried cause I may not get the same care or testing to rule out as if I was at an ALS Clinic. Right now I only have Medicare and VA health care benefits, and we all know how great medicare beneifts are and how everytime they are used you get a nice fat bill. I have not yet been dx but watched as a child when my grandfather died from Atypical ALS, as well as the beginning symptom of my mothers boyfriend Bruce, who later died of ALS like symptoms.

Contact zenarcher by private message. I think he knows the most about VA Benefits.

Ontarians often don't realize there are alternatives to an emergency room visit, or where to find those options. Your Health Care Options Medical Services Directory is a user-friendly searchable database of walk-in and after hours clinics, urgent care centres, and family health care providers. By entering your postal code you can find out the hours and services available in your community.
