need advice

:confused: I amnotsure if I came tothe right place.. I have been suffering from massive muscle cramps all over my body ,so bad that I am afraid to go out of the house, I am only 41 and Its getting worse and worse. I went to the ER and they gave me Valuim, followed up with dr, and they told me basically it was in my head and it might be caused from my thyroid. I am so frustrated and Its making me cry all the time, not only from the pain, but becouse my life has come to a stop. Any one have a clue??? PLease!

Hi. If you can get your GP to send you to a good Neurologist that would be a good start. Cramps can be from meds, potassium , calcium shortages or any number of things. Get your GP to run tests.
