View Full Version : A place in between

A man told me today about a place in between
A place where hope neither flourishes nor dies
A place where hope neither exists nor fails to exist
I sat confused about his meaning
Life is black or white, hope or hopeless
How can such a place with neither of these be?
I held up a sheet of paper and pointed to one side
"This is hope"
I turned the page over
"This is hopeless"
There is nothing in between
He held up my hand and pointed to my palm
"This is hope"
He turned my hand over
"This is hopeless"
YOU are in between.

Tracy,
Thanks for posting this. I can sure relate.
Life is not black and white. It's full of many grey areas. So much known and so much unknown.
Hope helps to bridge the gap between the two.
Sometimes we're able to feel hope and sometimes we're not.
Hope has alot to do with perception, expectation, and acceptance.
Sometimes it's a climb, sometimes it's a decent, sometimes it's immobile/static.

I hope you are able to feel energy and some degree of acceptance of what has been handed to you.
I hope your mom is managing, too.
I hope you have help.
I hope you have hope.
Peace,
Jane
