Hello all~
Just wondering if any of you have suffered with canker sores on the tongue?? My mother in law was in pain today (mouth, throat and some chest pain) She refused to go the the er (I thought her heart). We went over and she had a sore on her tongue and 2 on the side of her tounge which was causing her a good amount of discomfort. I gave her Advil and went out and got her ambosol and tom's mouth wash(no alcohol in it)
I am just wondering what there is out there to take better care of her mouth. She has fast progressin with bulbar onset for any of you that don't know. Your help is so much aprreciated. It is horrible to see her so uncomfortable.

I posted on another thread about dental care - Biotene mouthwash. My mother had an absess on her gums (yuck) and it cleared right up. Can be purchased at most drug stores but was cheapest at the grocery.
