Lend a helping hand!

I would like to volunteer some of my time to help families who have someone with ALS. I was a child who lost her father to this horrifying disease 7 years ago. My father was so full of life at 44 years old. I want to be there for as many of you as I can. If you know who I can contact in the Charlotte area so that I can start volunteerig my time for both the sick and their families please let me know. I tried emailing the ALS foundation here and no one contacted me back. My heart goes out to all of you and please dont give up hope.

Some states have a volunteer group called "Helping Hands." Maybe you could see if there is one near you.
