View Full Version : Pain in chest when breathing

Hi everyone,

For the past couple of days, I get a sharp pain in my chest when I take a deep breath. I also notice the chest pain when I bend over. I am not short of breath nor am I choking.

When I sit still breathing normally I feel no pain.

I'm sure it's nothing - but with this stupid disease anything may be related.

Have any other PALS experienced this?

Thanks.

Richard

Not me and I do have a history of heart problems. Have you been exercising or lifted anything out of the ordinary in the last few days? I did a little painting last week and my hand still hurts. Muscles won't take anywhere near the abuse that they used to.
If the pain stays in one spot and doesn't go down the arm or into the jaw I'd think it was a muscle. Most people with heart related pain report a dull crushing like pain. If you still have it in a few days or if you are really worried I'd be off to the Doc's. Take care.
