I found this link when looking up more information about foot drop and gait.

http://library.med.utah.edu/neurologicexam/html/gait_abnormal.html#03

I had a pretty good idea of what people where referring to, but wanted to be sure. This is a University of Utah link in which different types of gaits are demonstrated along with examples of from actual patients. I thought it might be helpful for those who aren't quite sure what is meant by "foot drop." The "Neuropathic Gait" is the relevent section.

Hey! Thanks for that website it is very informative.. I learned my gait is more Diplegic, the top of my foot and ankle have wasted causing it to look flat but my upper leg has twisted at the hip and my weak inner ankle has caused the foot to turn inwards. So my legs twists in and my foot hangs down and to the inside. My husband thinks it looks gross because it looks so twisted.. Thank god it is only my left leg, in that example the man had it in both legs.
