Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced stiff joints in their fingers?
I am now having 90% of my fasc. in my left hand and arm and this is the hand with the joint stiffness.

I do not have weakness, but am fearful it will soon follow.

Thanks for your time,
Darla

Hi ... I have noticed stiff joints in fingers of both hands for about 6 months, but don't know if this is ALS related or arthritis. (I'm 72, and expect some changes may be partly old age.)

I don't have any ALS limb involvement yet as far as weakness goes, but I've noticed minor twitching on my left arm for some time. I can't make a tight fist with either hand, and I feel both hands have been weaker for some months. (Have to use pliers to open twist-off caps, etc.)

Just dx with ALS last month, with bulbar symptoms. Am not yet getting any treatment or consultation for ALS and don't know if this stiffness is typical. Hopefully, we'll get answers from people more experienced with all this! Good luck,

Beth
