Hi all

I have a question. Those that are taking Rilutek, are you covered by an Rx plan or does anyone have to pay for this drug?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I just got prescribed Rilutek on Friday, and the Dr told me that the full price is $1000 a month. He said that insurance will often pay, but it varies widely.

I checked with the pharmacy, and it looks like with my plan, it will only be a $25/month copay.

Mine costs $50 a month copay through my insurance. The ALS specialist who diagnosed me said that it was worth $50 a month, but it wasn't worth it if my copay was $100, and it definitely wasn't worth paying the full price of $1025.

Mine is also Medco - $50 fo 3 month supply. When I first started Rilutek, I would have given you my 3 month supply because of side affects. But after doing Dannon Activia for two weeks and continuing it, I now take Rilutek with no side affects.

My insurance is Cigna (PPO) and I pay a $20 copay for one month's worth. The Lithium, however, is only $10 copay.
