In memory of my Godmother, Penny

Penny Marland, 66, lost her battle with ALS this morning. She was diagnosed in January of '07. She was my 2nd mom while my mom lives out of state, she gave me away at my wedding and according to her I was the "daughter of her heart" as she had no children of her own. I'll miss her voice, her determination to beat this and her calm, loving way. She's in a better place with no hurt, no pain.....and I'm so grateful for the chance to have been a part of this amazing woman's life.
