Lump in throat

Just got a new symptom: I feel as if a pill is stuck in my throat when I swallow saliva and a little bit when at rest. This happened very suddenly (I was driving my car and all of a sudden, within seconds, there it was). It started a few days ago and has actually gone away for an entire day (it just came back today). I dont' really notice it when I eat food and drink fluids. Is that consistent with everyone else?

I have searched "lump" on this site and see that some have felt that but they didn't say how big the lump is.
