I have been trying to find any information about putting wine through your feeding tube. How dangerous is this.

I have been known to take the occasional glass of red wine through my PEG. No problem so far. Just be sure to flush the tube with water when you finish. :-D

Hey....I'm not to the stage of having a tube yet but I am filing this away for later....if it works for wine it should work for a beer too, eh?

Yep, it works for beer - just de-foam it by stirring out all the carbonation before you try to pour it down the tube:mrgreen:

There should be no problem with giving wine through a PEG. Coming from a nursing student, as long as you flush the tube, you can pretty much put anything liquid in there.
