Was just wondering if anyone is familiar with the herb, astragalus? Read an article online about a rugby player with ALS who took 20 capsules a day and claims he is in "remission". I am aware that there are a lot of hoaxes out there, but was just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this. Thanks.

Sorry, he is no longer in remission...he died last year. Perhaps it helped him in some way. Guess we will never really know until researchers get serious about ALS.
