I just read Steven Shackel's website. We are on the same page in terms of therapies, supplements and philosophy. Anyone else familiar with his research?

I think I had a neighbor who used to sell his supplements. Some members here feel better taking certain supplememts- try reading the blog section. If I remember, Shackel's products are expensive and you may do better with some more research.

I was not clear in asking about Steven Shackel's website. He is not selling supplements, it was the THEORY section of the website that was fascinating. You can google Steven Shackel and see what you think.

my mother in law tried every supplement she ever read about that folks here and at the ALS center recommended. She tried Reflexology, Chiropractic, Rolfing, everything.

for her, nothing seemed to help, her case seems to be a fairly rapidly progressing case.

i suppose what works for some might not work for others.
