Do you mean the diaphragm pace maker device, if so (Holly) Hopealive's mother has bulbar als and has been on a waiting list to have this inserted. Her condition appears to be rather slower than the normal. You can always message Holly and get her input on it. I have not been in touch with Holly recently and I have not heard if her mom has gotten it as of yet. However, what I do know is that her breathing had not been affected as of yet. So I am not sure what the requirments are to have this inserted. Good Luck into your search ...God Bless. Anne
