Has anyone heard from Debbie D from Ajax? She was supposed to start the stem cell trial at Sunnybrook back in the spring.

I haven’t been on the computer for a long time. Our computer is in the rec room and I can’t go up and down the stairs. I now have a wireless laptop courtesy of suinnybrook hospital!

I haven’t started stem cells therapy. The new doctor has to apply to the government. I will see him next week at the clinic. Hopefully he has heard something.

I have a lot of catching up to do online!

welcome back Debbie. Nice to hear from you again. Al and I were wondering how you were doing.
Well, there has been a lot going on the forum, but as everyone struggles with life, we have maintained our sense of humour, as you may note.

Hi Deb,

Hang in there. Nice to hear from you. Hope you are doing alright and enjoying the great summer we have had. Keep us posted on your progress with the stem cells, we are all very interested in that.

Stay Strong, Carol

Hi Debbie. Are you going to the clinic on Sept 6? That is my scheduled day and I'm seeing Dr. Zinman at 10:30. If your day is then I'd like to see you and maybe have a coffee and shoot the breeze. Putting a face to another name on the forum is always nice. Let me know if that is your day. Al.

We might be able to work something out. After my appointment I had planned to go to Lyndhurst Rehab Hosp. just behind Sunnybrook to visit a friend and Peel Paramedic that broke his back in a motorcycle accident in Vermont a few weeks ago. He is paralyzed from the waist down now and they won't know for sure if it is permanent. Odds are it will be but there is always hope. They think the swelling will go down in a few more weeks and they will know more. So if I visit him for a bit and then come back we might be able to meet up. Let me know what your schedule is.

Ok whos Samantha? I missed something didnt I? Not a darn thing wrong with bald men and since Carol has the monopoly on the red bikini even though red is my favorite color I would be the one wearing the 38 DD hot purple one. You'll have to excuse me I havnt had any sleep and just did 3 shifts back to back with a graveyard in the mix. Now its time to go and dream about the beach!

Al - we do all love you, your wisdom and wit almost can't be met!!!!

Kim, Carol & Theresa - glad to see some humor here....You definitely don't want to see me in a bikini....unless it had a pretty lace robe over it to hide all the imperfections!!!!

I hate red bikini's, but I love bald guys. I have two sons and they ar both bald. Count me in on that hug! I'm a little long in the tooth, but I can still hug.

Sorry Al no pictures and I havnt had time to find that hot purple bikini. Melissa I'm sure we all have imperfections in fact I have many but the lace cover up sounds really sexy. Remember its not whats on the outside that counts but whats inside and I know your heart is from a person I would love to meet.

Well I can remember things from my younger years. There were a few pretty girls around and some were prettier than my Lee. She is not a bad looking fiftyish year old. She has a heart of gold and she has put up with me for 35 years of marriage. Now with what is happening she has not wavered. Mellissa, I'd be happy to look at you in the lace. We are all beautiful in our own right. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I have always been interested in the ladies. I have only met on a couple of occasions ladies that I didn't like. Some joke about behind every man there is a good woman. Not to be behind him but to push him on to greater things. I think this is true in my case. I'm a bit of a lazy sh-t and Lee pushes me to do the outside things.
I enjoy this forum and it keeps me busy and I feel connected. I hope some of you feel the same way.
