New blood tests hopefully being developed in the next few years, the most interesting part is that 'those with one set of genetic mutations are 2000 times more likely to get ALS' .

this new mutation"tdp-43" they've found looks promising,just needs more funding to research. the only way they'll find a cure or at least to slow down/manage it, is to find the cause/connection. they look like they are going in the right direction,but as i said theres not alot of funding so this needs to be addressed.
hows your mum doing,i asked on my last thread but you probably did'nt see.

Hi Caroline, I did see your post and I thought I replied but there must have been gremlins :???:

My Mother is much the same at the moment, good days and bad days. She has been eating a little less over the last few days but that will hopefully pass.

How have you been keeping? I've read you're having a little trouble sleeping. so I hope thats sorted :)
