On December 6, Senator Ted Stevens (r-alaska) Became The 68th Senator To Formally Register His Support For The Als Registry Act! Thanks To The Terrific Outreach Of Advocates In Alaska Who Have Participated In The Association's National Call For A Cure And Veterans Day Letter To The Editor Campaign, Senator Stevens Understood HOw Important The Creation Of A National Registry Is To His Constituents. Thanks To Alaska Als Advocates!

In November, The Senate Health, Education, Labor, Pensions (help) Committee Unanimously Voted To Have The Bill Move Forward For Consideration By The Full Senate. Here In South Carolina, Senator Demint And Senator Graham Are Cosponsors Of The Bill, But We Must Continue To Build Support Among Senators Who Are Not Current Cosponsors(please See List Below). If You Have Friends Or Family In The State Listed Below, Please Ask Them To Reach Out To Their Senators. They Can Do So By Visiting The Advocacy Action Center On The Als Association's Website And Sending An Email Or Calling Them Today! Sample Letters Are Available That Have Key Messages And Can Also Be Personalized.

Arizona Senators John Mccain & Jon Kyl
Colorado Senators Wayne Allard & Ken Salazar
Idaho Senator Mike Crapo
Illinois Senator Barack Obama
Indiana Senator Richard Lugar
Kanasas Senator Pat Roberts
Kentucky Senator Mitch Mconnell
Missouri Senator Kit Bond
Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson
Nevada Senator John Ensign
New Hampshire Senator Judd Gregg

Thanks For You Continued Outreach. Together We Can Make A Difference.
It Will Happen Soon.

Love & Prayers To All,
Caroliney

Caroliney, I appreciate the information but would like to ask a favor. When you post information such as this could you please provide the URL to it's source? Information like this can be included in letters to our representatives and senators but I like to include a source when doing so.

Have posted this different times, but failed to this time, as we need to check on this periodically and act upon every avenue to clear this disease.

Thanks for the reminder.
