I went to the doctor today because I have this persistant cough for the past 3 days that is waking up everyone in my house. I have had this cough on and off all my life and it usually comes with the cold weather. The doctor gave me a z pak and some cough medicine and told me it could be seasonal asthma- I am wondering if this could be the onset of bulbar als. I have also had food etting stuck under my tongue for the past few times I have been eating. I asked the doctor about this and she said this could be caused by my GERD. I have also noticed that I have a dent in my ankle and that it no longer forms a complete 90 degree angle when I am walking. When I was at the doctor I saw that my wrist was twitching but I could not feel it. I have no other weakness that I can point to . . .

Any advice??

I'd hold onto the fact that you don't have much weakness. That is a vrey good sign! Cindy
