View Full Version : Intervention

As most of you know, I am a west coast journalist with ALS documenting my odyssey with this disease. I am working on a column about intervention, i.e., feeding tubes, respirators, etc. There are those willing to get plugged in and others who are not comfortable with the idea. I would like to talk with people on line who have drawn the line with feeding tubes and/or respirators to get their views. I am not making judgments in any way and in fact support fellow PALS no matter what decision they make. I am merely illustrating the varieties of thinking. Perhaps what you say might make someone who has made a similar choice not feel alone.
Thanks,
Leo Greene

This sounds like it will be a really informative piece when you finish researching it, Leo. I hope you are getting a few responses from our PALS. Cindy

Leo,

Hat's off to you...perhaps, someone that reads an article like this will get just an inkling of an understanding of what PALS go thru.

Rgds,

jamie
