Well, my name is Lindsey, and I am 15 years old.
I was reading the symptoms, stories, etc.. and it sounded like exactly like what is happening with me.
My right arm/hand is very weak and the muscles won't stop twitching. It(hand/arm) also cramps.
This has been going on for about 2 weeks now, and it's not letting up.
I know this is very vague information, but can you please share some insight with me? Thanks. :-(

-Lindsey

You need to go to the doctor, but the chances of you having ALS is one in about 450,000,000, as the youngest documented case of ALS is 13 years old, but very very rare and about impossible at your age.

YOu sound more like Guillan Barre, or Charot Marie Tooth.

You need to go to the Doctor.

Thank you.
My parents made an appointment for the doctors, so hopefully I will find out what's happening. ;-)

Hello LinLin- Jamie is right- I bet the docs will have relatively good news for you. I say relatively because it might be a pinched nerve. Do you play sports or spend a lot of time on the computer? A pinched nerve takes a while to heal, and usually means physical therapy, but it is still better than something that is terminal and untreatable. When are you folks taking you to the doctor? Cindy

There are several things that can explain this.
