Out of Country health insurance

Hi - Just wondering if some people with ALS (Canadian) have bought Health insurance to go to the U.S. for a few weeks. Do you feel safe with it or does it always have a pre-existing clause in it that they could use for anything when you have ALS. Anxious to get replies. Thanks!!

Yes I have ALS and have had ins to travel,I am covered if I broke something or something of that ilk,but if I needed medical attn due to ALS conditions I would not be covered,don't know if this ans your question...Kevin
