Hello everyone,
Just received word that both my Xrays & TC Scan were clean.
So, no issues with my blood, brain or spinal cord.
Neurologist is next, supposedly soon.
GP is suggesting MS.
Is MS an early stage of ALS? Would MS be good under these circumstances?
The Neurologist that my GP is targeting for me is supposedly very good.
I'm neither pleased or disappointed, but my gut feel is that no Brain Tumour is a bonus. Unfortunately no Dx is an issue.
I have no idea what I expected.
out
Sandy

MS is what you would hope for in this situation. (I know it is messed up to hope for that). They say this is the best time to have MS because it can all be managed with medicine. I have an in-law with MS and he has no symptoms anymore after going on the injections. He needs to inject himself every day, but he says that you get used to it.

When does your wife get back?

Hello Sandy- MS is a very good thing when the alternative is something that is terminal. MS is treatable, though chronic. It wrecks the most havoc when a younger person gets it as it has more time to debilitate the body. I would be happy with this DX. Regards, Cindy

My apologize folks,
My GP said he suspected Muscular Distrophy as the probably concern, not MS. I converted his comments to MS, which originally I felt was the same. Do not why I did that, but now my question is.....Does Muscular Distrophy eventually flow into ALS.
Sorry about the confusion. My grey matter is not what it should be these days.
One positive note is that my twitching still has not returned.
Out for now
Sandy
