Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone here has any first hand experience of Stem Cell therapy - or knows someone who underwent the treatment?
What the effects were and generally if there was any form of improvement or halting of the illness?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
xxx :-D

Hi Blue,

This subject has been much discussed here and elsewhere. I know of no one who has benefitted (except the "clinics" who happily remove tens of $1000s from your wallet) from current stem cell therapy. Use the search function for "stem cell" and you will find many threads on it.

I have recently heard of stem cell therpy utilizing ones own stem cells for clinical trial purposes. This was for MS research but nothing on this matter for ALS. You may want to contact the ALSA to see if this is being conducted. Be very sceptical of any other resource because fraud is rampid and alot of people promise alot of results with nothing really to justify positive end results including the holistic approach.
