The walk, Missoula's first, was a great success! A beautiful cool morning without rain or smoky skies, and a couple hundred enthusiastic walkers! I thought maybe I'd just turn in my pledges and skadoodle, but once we got there we got right into the spirit and my husband and I both completed the pleasant walk along the Clark Fork River. The ALS Assn counted $19,000 from those present, not counting mail-in and other pledges. Yippee! And don't forget, the whole state of Montana only has a population of 900,000.
