Any one can advice me that i want to buy a speech translator device for my father, a device which can use to understand him that what does he want? i am in UAE right now so plz. advice me..........in UAE from where i can buy? thanks

Hi Salma,
There are several different options available and they range in price from just a few dollars (printed cards with pre-typed sentences, or a small chalkboard) to thousands for a fancy speech synthesizer.
First, does your Dad have hand strength? Is he able to type?
Second, is there a society or group in the UAE that can assist you and your Dad, in getting set up? (Like an ALS Society or MD Society, something like that)
