My husband has lost the strenght in his left leg. It happened more than two years ago, althought it wasn't as bad as now; he has to use a cane now.He hasn't got any other symptoms, at least for the moment. He doesn't take any medicine and doctors think it could be PLS.At the beginning they thought it could be an herniated disc.EMG and MRI are ok. Does any one have the same symptoms? Thanks for answering.

Hello Mamer and welcome to the forum. I am sorry for what is happening to your family- I say the family because MND affects eveyone. We've had a few members with just one limb affected. Maybe you can locate them by doing a search on leg weakness from the top of this screen. If you see a PAL (person living with ALS) or a CAL (Caregiver) with symptoms similar to your husband's then you can send them a Pm (Private Message).

Again, welcome aboard and let us know if there is anyhting else you would like to discuss. Cindy
