I have an EMG this Friday. I had a nerve test about a year which came out clean. I have a bro. with ALS at the age of 26. I am a pessimist and to be frank, the symptoms see obvious to me.

It will be a difficult day. I will need all of your support. God bless all of you.

Keep an open mind and if possible take one day at a time. Let us know how your EMG appointment goes on Friday and YES, you will be in our prayers. For me, prayer doesn't change the circumstances as much as I am changed in the midst of the circumstances.

I kind of see it this way, too. Sometimes the best we can do is ask for the serenity to accept whatever is not changable. Back to your request, Rosales, you will be in our thoughts. Ask about getting tested for the SOD1 gene. It will either relieve your mind or let you know that you need to plan. Best wishes in this difficult time for all of you. Cindy

I have my biopsy as well this Friday...
