I was dx in july '06 leg onset. At my recent clinic visit I described symptoms of a sore throat and weak voice. The speach therapist said it was just acid reflux. My speach is clear just hard to talk for long periods and gets slurred late at night. Seems like just as during my dx the doctors are very slow to admit your symptoms, I can tell before the doctors.

Hi Bryan. You'll find as you go along that you will wonder if the Doc's really know what they are doing. Sometimes it's difficult for them to jump in and put another diagnosis on you unless it is really showing. If he said bulbar symptoms that would have scared the crap out of you. They want to be sure first.
