I have been reading this site for the past two months
but just joined today. I am from MN and was diagnosed
with als last Oct. the Dr. said I probably have had it for
at least four years. It is now in my throat and right arm.
It came as a shock but now I am living my life as I know
what direction it is going. Thank you all for giving me many
of the answers to questions I have had. I hope to take part
in your forum in the future. Curt44:)

Hello Curt. Glad you decided to join us. You don't say if you have family or friends nearby but often they are almost as devastated as the patient when the news finally hits. How's your crew holding up?
