I just added a page to my website that documents how I powered my Bi-Pap then my vent from my wheelchair batteries (http://mikebougher.com/12vdc_power_for_bipap_or_ventil.htm). The system makes them very portable, with a large power reservoir. I will be happy to answer any questions.

Mike,

Looks like you have done some cad work before. Were you an engineer or architect?

CBowman,

Yes, I was a process control system designer (engineer without degree), and project manager.

Quick question Mike. What gauge of wire do you use? It only says red and black wire. Great idea. I actually saw someone asking about this type of thing yesterday on another forum. Good that we can share the information. AL.

Hey Al,

16 gauge should be plenty. The devices pull less than 5 amps each.

Thanks. That set up may be needed sooner than later. AL.
