I have been hanging on to a couple of cars that I have loans on and I have tried to sell them with no luck . The cars are in excellent shape but if I try to trade them in no one will give me a square deal. Is there a way to get rid of them without ruining my credit ? Has anybody ever had to deal with this ?:-?
As we say up here in Canada. Put on your raincoat. You're about to get hosed. It's tough to sell a car back to a dealer and get anywhere near what it is worth. A friend of mine that lived in Tampa (Springhill actually) had to move back to Canada and couldn't bring his Saturn and had to sell it for $4000 less than he had bought it less than a year before. I'm sure you were looking for better news but that's what happened to my buddy. Maybe someone else has a better idea. Do they have consignment dealers there? Or auto auctions. Some of them here you can put in a reserve bid and not take less that a set amount. Look for one of them. AL.
