Hello: I am new to the forum. In June I was diagnosed with ALS. The disease is progressing very rapidly in spite of alternative therapies I have tried.

I have been offered pro bono acupuncture treatment (traditional Japanese - five elements).

Has anyone reading this had experience with acupuncture that you could share with me? Thanks, Ruth Boulder, Colorado.

There's no evidence that acupuncture will help in the least with ALS.

It's free today, but somehow I highly doubt it will continue to be free.

I tried about 3 months of acupuncture and it was no help at all. Hey if it's free you might want to try it yourself. Just did not do me any good.

God Bless

I tried acupuncture for about 3 months, but I didn't notice any difference. My acupuncturist didn't think it was helping me either
